| Dr.Nripendra Narayan Sarma
has been on the faculty of Assam Institute of Management
for nearly 16 years. He has served as academic co-ordinator
for the institute's PGDBM programme and faculty co-ordinator
for several management development programme mostly
in the area of marketing. Prior to joining AIM he co-ordinated
a research on evaluation project in National Institute
of Rural Development after spending a year in Pharmaceutical
Marketing.
Dr. Sarma received his Ph.D on consumer co-operation
and rural marketing and MBA in Marketing Management
from Gauhati University and BA( Hons) from Cotton
College, Guwahati.
Dr. Sarma has personally authored over 20articles
and one book. He has served as visiting faculty in
Gauhati University. He has served on the Editorial
Review Board and assisted the North Eastern Hill University
in preparation of course material for the distance
learning courses. His training at Indian Institute
of Management- Indore has equipped him for qualitative
research, which he finds more interesting.
