Md. Irfan Ullah completed his MBA from Gauhati University with Marketing specialization and started his career with CII (Confederation of Indian Industry). He joined Dibrugarh University as a Lecturer in Centre for Management Studies in 2005. He was also associated with Tourism and Tea Technology programmes of Dibrugarh University. Along with his hardcore academic involvement he was also the Training and Placement Officer of CMS-DU. His contribution in this aspect was instrumental to bring a breakthrough in overall Training and Placement scenario of the University. He is a registered research scholar of Dibrugarh University and pursuing his doctoral research on tea marketing
