The Assam Institute of Management inaugurated its 18th Batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management programme on 4th July 2011 at Williamson Magor Auditorium, Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture, MG Road, Uzanbazar, Guwahati.

Shri Jatin Hazarika, Retired civil servant and renowned social worker inaugurated the programme. Shri Utpal Borah, GM,Productions, Assam Asset, ONGC was the Guest of Honour.

The "Initiation lecture" was delivered by Shri Shantikam Hazarika, Former Director, Assam Institute of Management and Chairman SEBA, where he highlighted on the significance of Management Education.
