15th Convocation of AIM

Yet another milestone was attained by Assam Institute of Management as 60 Graduates from the 2008-2010 batch were conferred their PGDBM Diplomas in the 15th convocation held on 28th April, 2010 at Pandit Tirthnath Sarma Bhavan, Chandmari, Guwahati.

Prof Asoke K Dutta, Director, Rajib Gandhi IIM Shillong was the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation address.

The Convocation was conducted with the usual professionalism and solemnity, which has become AIM's hallmark. Apart from a bevy of distinguished citizens, many parents, guardians and friends of the outgoing batch were part of the audience.

Tasha Mahanta got the gold medal for standing first in the order of merit. She also got Gold Medals for being the best student all rounder and shared the Best Summer Project award with Ujjaldip Rajkonwar. Pankaj Khakholia got the Award for the best Grand Project.

The graduating students were administered a "Dikshantopadesha" in Sanskrit by a Scholar from the Local Ved Vidyalaya. In addition, the outgoing batch also took an oath where they vowed to uphold the values imparted to them.
