The placement record of Assam Institute
of Management is getting mileage with the transitory of
time and the institute is witnessing more and more companies
visiting the Institute for placement. Out of 68 students
graduating this year, more than seventy percent has already
been recruited by companies from all over the country. Amidst
economic downturn and tough placement competition, AIM students
have been able to secure jobs in companies like State
Bank of India, United Bank of India, CRISIL, STAR Cements,
HDFC Bank, GATI, AXIS Bank, Berger Paints, ICICI Bank, SBI
Life, Colgate Palmolive, Stock Holding Corporation of India
Ltd., amongst others. Few more companies which visited AIM
for recruitment purpose are yet to declare the list of selected
candidates. AIM expects the placement of all the graduating
students in next few weeks time. The average salary of the
passed out batch has also increased over the years and this
year the highest CTC earned by AIM graduate is around Rs.6.0
