About Assam

We wish to see our graduates grow as managers with a sense of social responsibility. This is one of the values that is cherished most by our Director, Shri Shantikam Hazarika, who has made significant contribution towards the society as a corporate citizen.
In order to imbibe these values among our students we have introduced compulsory papers like RESOURCE, ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT (REEM) and EXECUTIVE EFFECTIVENESS (EE).
At AIM, its students are involved in various ways to excel in socially responsive management activities, which make them active participants in the environment & social aspects & also in promoting the rich culture of our country.

ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECT
RESOURCE, ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT (REEM)

The concern for the environment has become all pervasive in the present context. There can be no doubt that environment degradation has an impact on the quality of our life & puts a question mark on the sustainability of our world. AIM has attempted to make its students aware of the critical issue by incorporating it in its syllabus a subject named REEM. In this paper the students are made aware of the importance of environmental issues that have vital bearings in all aspects of life & organization. The linkages between environment, energy & resources are attempted to be established and the need for their prudential management is emphasized throughout the paper.

BLOOD DONATION
AIM with cooperation of the Blood Bank of Guwahati Medical College, annually organizes a blood donation camp in which the students actively volunteer to donate blood. The camp basically aims at developing Humanitarian Behaviour amongst the students
