In 1999, a group of students of AIM participated in a national level management event in Mumbai and their participation was very well appreciated. The students became highly enthusiastic and organized a similar event in AIM with participants from other management institutes in the North Eastern region. AIMQUEST calls for demonstration of organizing skills, team spirit and management acumen of management students. Even the brand name development of AIMQUEST itself was an academically recognized exercise. Since 1999 the students of AIM have been organizing the event of fun and quest for management excellence. Last year's AIMQUEST theme was "Exploring Excellence in Non Corporate Sector".
