Paucity
of well-trained professional
personnel has been the major reason for the underdevelopment of
the North Eastern region of the Indian sub-continent. Accepting
this gap as a thrust area for infrastructure building,the Government
of Assam sponsored the Assam Institute Of Management(AIM),in 1988.
It is the only fully autonomous management institute in the country
to be promoted by any state government in India. |
